There are certainly some advantages to living in the middle of a former cow pasture-veggies grow here like nothing I've ever seen.  I am worried about the zuchinni...I planted 3. It's only early June and this is what plant #1 is doing-did I mention I planted 3.....?

And for good measure I also included an eggplant...I have absolutely no idea what possessed me to buy it-but we also now have baby eggplants happening-

Was quite the day for the Creston Garden Tours, rain, sun and rainbows!  Lots of 'em!  This was the view of it all from Hawk View Estates..which also had one of their residences participate in the  Tour!

What our residents have to say

We  were one of the first to purchase our lot in Hawk View Estates, and never cease to be amazed at the spectacular views and constantly changing skies.  A less than 3 minute commute to work is welcome after years spending hours each day in grid lock traffic!  Fabulous neighbors, beautiful climate, it just doesn't get much better than this.
